I’m back and straight into deep water!
I posted a short story with a 24-year-old teacher having a one night stand with her 16-year-old student. The story began with them meeting again after 15 years.
I didn’t detail the one night stand and it was an unintentional act on both sides. Some readers said they couldn’t read on because it’s illegal or it’s unpalatable.
Sometimes my muse just take me to a dark corner.
Dear readers, will you abandon a story if it contains some illegal elements involving the hero and heroine? Dear writers, have your muse led you astray before?
Ooh yeah I can relate. In my novel, Owen Fiddler, there's a scene in the "never world" where the savior figure, "Kris," French kisses Owen's daughter. Lots of straight laced Christians were offended at such a (what they considered) derrogatory depiction of the Messiah. But that's me - I like to stir up controversy - especially amongst the religious - lol.
