My Darcy Pulsates...Kindle version came out slightly earlier than I thought and it has just reached No.93 best selling single author best seller list. It seems quite a strange category.

Lovely Canadian

I've thanked my American, French, British and German readers before. Today it's time to thank my Canadian readers. Over at Smashwords, who sell my books to Sony, Kobo etc, they have improved their reporting and I can now see who bought my books in Canada.

Recently there were readers from ON, AB, QC, MB, NS buying my books. I've only been to Toronto some 15 years ago, in the deep of winter. Perhaps it's time to see more of Canada. I hope in summer this time.

On January 22, The Spinster's Vow reached No.33 best selling historical romance in Amazon France. Today, it reaches No. 8!

Woo hoo! Merci, merci. It's among books published by Avon and Penguin. I'm honoured.

Libraries in Australia

Last month, I've got some free books from my printing company. They messed up with some of my set up files and sent me free books as compensation. I've been dominating them to the libraries in Australia. If you want to check if my books are in one of the libraries near you, you can use the WorldCat website.

Kindle is the King!

Dear lovely readers, thanks for buying my books.

I now have 8 books for sales in various channels and this month so far, I've sold over 300 of them.

90% of the sales is from Kindle, followed by Smashwords, Lightning source and Lulu. The best selling book is still Bargain with the Devil. I think most of you love a bad boy hero.

Perhaps I can crack the 1,000 mark soon...

My Media Kit

Thanks to the tips from Elizabeth Craig, the fabulous cozy mystery author at Mystery Writing is Murder, I've compiled a marketing flyer (not sure if I can call it media kit though).

Here is the first page. I'm going to send it out to libraries in Australia to see if they will buy and order my books. I'm not sure if I should approach US libraries too. What do you think?

Happy dancing again! Fire and Cross just reached No.68 best-selling British detectives mystery on Amazon USA. More to my delight was that it sits right after one of Hercule Poirot's cases. What an honour! (But don't get too excited, the novel isn't a detective story, it's more a mystery.)

Foreign language readers

A while ago, a Spanish publisher contacted me via a New York scouting agent. They were interested to translate my books and enquired about the translation rights.

The deal didn't realise but I'd be happy to see my steamy Pride and Prejudice novels translated into Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Slovene, Dutch, and other languages.

Why these languages? Because I know from my website statistics that some of my readers are from these countries. Perhaps they would like to read sexy Mr. Darcy in their own languages.

Translators and foreign language publishers, are you up for the challenge?

The Kindle version of My Darcy Mutates..has been selling really well.

The book has reached top 100 best selling romantic anthologies on and off for the past month. Today it's at No.53. It reached as high as No.34 mid September.

Yay, My Darcy Mutates...reaches No.35 best selling Regency romance on Amazon USA today. Happy dancing!

Best selling historical fantasy

Last week, I was surprised to find out that My Darcy Mutates...reaches No.95 best selling historical fantasy at Amazon UK, in the company of Jules Verne Collection, Merlin etc.

I wonder why it's classified under historical fantasy. Out of the 14 short stories in the collection, only three of them are fantasy stories. But I guess the name My Darcy Mutates did it.

France loves Jane Austen too!

Bargain with the Devil was listed No. 88 best selling historical romance among the English books in Amazon France yesterday.

I checked out other best selling books on that list and was happy to find other Jane Austen's inspired books there.

No.1 - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
No.4 - Mr. Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange
No.88 - my own Bargain with the Devil
No.95 - Mr. Darcy's Decision by Juliette Shapiro

It seems JA is well loved by French readers too.

Devil Breaks Through Top 50 Best Sellers!

Just want to brag a bit. Last night Bargain with the Devil reached top 50 best selling historical romance in Amazon USA (It's 44).

Maybe I should start checking the beaches you recommended. My BF and I may come to USA to celebrate!

Devil Ranks No. 10 in Regency Romance!

I'm happy to report that Bargain with the Devil's Amazon USA ranking has gone up to 8,000 at the end of last month. I forgot to check how it ranked in its own category though.

Since then I have been tracking its sales ranking at various amazons. Here are the results:

Amazon UK - 49,661 (18 Sept)
Amazon Germany - 6,853 in English books (17 Sept)

The happiest news is that at Amazon Canada, Devil's ranking has gone to 9,177 today and the book is No.10 best seller in Regency romance!
